The Hedditch and Wheaton families welcome you to Barrington Hideaway River Cottages, and invite you to enjoy all the things they love about this very special place. Barrington Hideaway has been owned by the Hedditch and Wheaton families since 2013, and many upgrades have been made since this time, with a focus on increased comfort and sustainability. Solar panel installation means a carbon neutral stay, and Wifi connection gives greater communication facilities (if you want it!).

Your hosts at Barrington Hideaway, Sue and Paul Hedditch, are focused on creating a meaningful, rural experience and having lived in Gloucester for over 40 years, are able to make you aware of all the area has to offer. Detailed information on things to do in the area are detailed on our website or in a folder in the cottages.

Sue’s time as a teacher, florist and Gloucester tourist information centre volunteer has been the perfect apprenticeship for hospitality. Her warm manner will make your experience memorable from enquiry to check-out.
